Jackson’s Flower Walk 2018

Thank you all for attending the first-annual Jackson’s Flower Walk. We had an incredible showing, with more than 100 family and friends, and together we raised more than $2,000 for the SUDC Foundation. It was heartwarming to see so many gathered together.

In Seattle…

We chose to organize a Flower Walk in Jackson’s memory because he loved flower walks around our neighborhood. He loved to smell the flowers, and blow on dandelion "puff balls" to see the seeds blow away. Pink flowers (especially the cherry trees) were his favorite.

In Seattle, we had about 100 of Jackson’s friends and family together for the walk.

…and around the world

In addition to the Seattle walk around Green Lake, there were many other walks around the world, including California, Iowa, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, Rhode Island, North Carolina, Canada, Iceland, London, Amsterdam, Budapest, and Djibouti.
